Tennessee dentists must complete 40 hours of continuing education and dental hygienists 30 hours every two years, measured over two calendar years (January 1 of an odd year through December 31 of an even year) with biennial license renewal. Both must include at least 2 hours of chemical dependency education and maintain current CPR. Dentists may complete all 40 hours online/home study, while hygienists are limited to no more than 50% online (up to 15 hours) per board guidance. NO CE broker

Key Tennessee requirements & rules:
