Missouri dentists must complete 50 hours of continuing education and dental hygienists 30 hours every two years (a biennial time block running December 1 to November 30, with renewal due by November 30 of even-numbered years). At least 40 of the dentist hours (25 of the hygienist hours) must directly relate to patient treatment, health, and safety.
