Kentucky dentists and dental hygienists must each complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years (biennial cycle), with dentists renewing by December 31 of odd-numbered years and hygienists by December 31 of even-numbered years. At least 10 hours must be live/interactive and at least 20 hours must be clinical, which leaves a maximum of 20 hours that may be completed as online/home-study self-study. Kentucky uses CE Broker as its CE tracking system (free Basic account available to licensees).

Every 2 years (biennial)

Biennial; all CE must be completed by December 31 — dentists renew in odd-numbered years, dental hygienists in even-numbered years.

At least 20 of the 30 hours must be clinical. Home Study Solutions online courses can cover up to those 20 self-study hours. CE is reported through CE Broker. Home Study Solutions is AGD PACE & ADA CERP approved.
