Georgia dentists must complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years (up to 20 by home study), and dental hygienists 22 hours (up to 11 home study), including board-mandated topics. 30 hours must be clinical in nature doe DDS and 15 hours must be clinical for RDH. Practice Manangement is allowed for the remaining non clinical portion.
Licenses renew every two years.
