Course Description:
Learn how certain foods and poor habits can lead to bad breath. Distinguish which dental or medical conditions are associated with this embarrassing condition. Identify the cause and assist patients with a specific remedy to reduce or prevent bad breath.
Course Objectives:
1. Be able to thoroughly understand what dental and medical questions to ask when a patient`s chief complaint is bad breath.
2.Identify the specific oral or medical conditions that are the causative factors associated with bad breath.
3. Learn the clinical examination methods that can be utilized to diagnose the root cause of bad breath.
4.Discover what dental or medical treatment is available to the patient to help eliminate or manage the root cause of bad breath.
