Course Description:
Distinguish barriers between proper access to care and income levels, geographic location, and ""priority"" populations. Identify deficits and needed improvements with Medicaid and other public programs to improve access to care.
Course Objectives:
1. Discover what programs are available to assist children`s access to care.
2. Be able to identify specific risk factors relating to the elderly and special needs patients` access to care.
3.Gain knowledge of names of organizations where you can volunteer to improve access to dental care in your local community.
